Small and great!
Kos has everything holidaymakers could wish for, with stunning beaches, an exciting nightlife and famous landmarks. One of them is the well-preserved temple of Asclepeion. The temple was a place where Asclepios, the god of healing, was worshipped and is still well preserved today. And if you want to experience something special after a long day of sightseeing, visit the Embros-Therme. The hot water gushes out of the mountains and flows into the sea.
Anyone needing a change of air can hop on a boat and visit one or several of Kos’s neighbouring islands, such as Kalymnos with its famous sponge divers, or Patmos featuring the Holy Grotto of John the Evangelist. The island of Rhodes can be reached by boat or ferry.
