How much does a ticket for a baby/infant cost?

In principle, the ticket price for an infant up to the age of two (2) is 10% of the regular airfare, plus any charges. We do not charge a service fee. However, please note that this fare does not entitle your child to have his/her own seat. The infant sits secured on the lap of an adult with a special seat belt. If you would still like a separate seat for your baby, this is possible. Please contact our Service Center by telephone on +43 120 609 2056 or your booking office.

My child will turn 2 while we are travelling, so what do I need to know?

The children's rate will apply. Guests who have made their booking at flyedelweiss.com, please contact our Service Center at least 4 days before departure. Are there any health problems for my baby if I'm travelling by plane?

You may fly with your newborn as early as seven days after birth. Babies who are less than seven days old need a certificate of their ability to travel from their family doctor. Travelling by air does not present any specific health problems for a healthy baby or small child. However, if you are ever uncertain, contact your pediatrician.
