Travel to Canada with Natucate, become part of a team of committed animal conservationists and help care for horses that have been rescued from intensive animal farming on a ranch in the south of the province of Alberta! As a volunteer on this project, you have the opportunity to make an active contribution to animal conservation while you experience Canada’s picturesque natural landscapes.
Travelling to Canada
Your Natucate trip starts with your journey to Calgary International Airport. You will be picked up at the airport by one of the project staff and taken to the horse ranch. Once you have settled into your room and gotten to know your team, you will be able to find out more about the project, its work, and its objectives.
Volunteers who do not have much experience when it comes to working with horses will mainly be involved with feeding the other animals (cows, pigs, goats, llamas, chickens and rabbits), cleaning and maintenance tasks, helping with fundraising events, and assisting with administrative tasks during their time on the ranch.
Final Day and Departure
On the final day of the project, you will set off after breakfast back to Calgary airport with a member of the ranch staff. From there, you can make your way back home or continue your journey to another fascinating region.
