An Airplane Seat on the Madrisa
In September 2022, the Airbus A320 HB-JLT was christened «Madrisa». Edelweiss Bänkli inaugurated as a sign of partnership on Madrisa. Signpost next to the Edelweiss Bänkli shows destinations of the A320 «Madrisa».
Families and connoisseurs who want to escape the stress of everyday life and spend a few pleasant hours with fresh mountain air on the Madrisa, will from now on pass by a very special resting bench. A wooden bench in the shape of an airplane seat.
Since 2016, the Swiss leisure travel airline Edelweiss has been naming its aircraft after regions where the queen of alpine flowers is native, in keeping with the motto «Where Edelweiss is at home». Edelweiss also grows in the Madrisa region above Klosters. For this reason, an Edelweiss Airbus A320 was christened «Madrisa» in September last year.
As a sign of the partnership, yesterday afternoon the Klosters-Madrisa Bergbahnen AG placed an Edelweiss Bänkli on the family mountain Madrisa. A wooden bench in the shape of an airplane seat. From there, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the alpine landscape in the future. In addition, next to the wooden bench is a signpost showing the direction and distance to some of the vacation destinations to which the Airbus A320 «Madrisa» flies.

The Airbus A320, HB-JLT, «Madrisa» is flying in the special Edelweiss/help alliance design since fall 2022 and flies to all Edelweiss destinations on short and medium haul routes.
