Rollercoaster Marathon in “Bush Gardens”

In the heart of downtown Tampa is a world of adventure that you might not expect in such an area: Bush Gardens offers 112 acres of the craziest rides. Start your rollercoaster marathon in the “Tigris”, loop for loop your world will be turned upside down. Next stop: “Sheikra” – going down at a 90-degree angle! Those who decide to give “Cobra’s Curse” a go will embark on an exciting journey, because no two rides are the same. The youngest members of the family will find what they’re looking for in the world of Sesame Street: If you’re at least 96 centimetres tall, you can go on a safari tour with Grobi.

Sweating and Sailing on Adventure Island

Just across from Bush Gardens is Adventure Island, where water slides provide an extra punch of adrenaline. The bizarre creation “Vanish Point” won’t just cool you down, you’ll also get a free fall: The ground is literally pulled out from under your feet! A little too much adrenaline for you? Then the “Colossal Curl” might be more what you’re looking for. Everyone sits in a boat and attempts to master whirlpools and boat tilts together. With all the excitement, don't forget to relax in the “Lazy River”! A trip to Florida without a swim in an inner tube just isn’t a real trip!

Dinosaur World

In a Land Before Time

It takes only half an hour to drive from Tampa to Plant City, and then travel back a few million years: At “Dinosaur World” you can admire hundreds of prehistoric carnivores and herbivores and then hunt around the 650-square-foot gift shop for one or two trophies to take home. What about the canine tooth of a T-Rex? The long-necked Brachiosaurus or Stegosaurus with a jagged shell is brought back to life by animation in the “Prehistoric Museum”. You’ll also hear original audios of the giants’ roars! Action is guaranteed: Children between the ages of three and twelve can dig up all kinds of shark teeth and bone fragments at “Fossil Dig”.
