Sun and fun: a rhapsody of Preveza and Lefkada

Lefkada is not only popular with beach lovers and snorkelers, but also with sailors, hikers, and mountain bikers. Furthermore, the island is one of the best windsurfing spots in Europe. The strong currents and the relatively shallow waters in the bay of Vassiliki and on Agios Ioannis Beach are a magnet for wind and kite surfers alike.
