What is checked in the assessment? / What should I wear?

On this day we pay attention to your appearance, your effect, but also your appearance, manners, charisma, teamwork, language skills, communication, etc.

If I am/was already a cabin crew member with another airline, do I have to go through the entire aptitude test?

Yes, you will need to go through the whole eligibility process again as requirements differ from one airline to another

How should I imagine an assessment / casting?

The assessment / casting takes two hours each. There are a maximum of four events per day. The event takes place at the headquarters of Edelweiss Air AG in the "Circle" at Zurich Airport. We invite a maximum of six people per event.

If the assessment is positive, am I then employed?

In order to be hired, the following points must be met:

-Positive medical check (including test for psychoactive substances) regarding fitness to fly at SWISS Medical Services.

- Criminal record extract (private register) without relevant entries. The excerpt must reach us before the start of training, but must not be older than 30 days before the start of employment.

- Positive background check (security check due to legal requirements).

- Proof of complete corona vaccination (incl. 2-week waiting period) and willingness/possibility to wear a mouth and nose protector.

Who bears the costs for travel, any overnight stays and meals during the assessment?

The costs are borne by each candidate themselves.
