Edelweiss to Resume Flights to Cancún
Beginning 3rd October 2020, and thus in time for the autumn holidays, Edelweiss will resume direct flight services from Zurich to Cancún on Mexico’s Yucatán peninsula. The region has received the Safe Travels stamp of approval from the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
The Yucatán peninsula sits in a sub-tropical climate zone that guarantees year-round warm weather and water temperatures that rarely drop below 24 degrees Celsius. So, the best time to enjoy a beach holiday in Cancún is: any time! Edelweiss will resume a once-weekly direct flight (on Saturdays) between Zurich and Cancún beginning 3rd October 2020.
Bernd Bauer, CEO von Edelweiss:”13 miles of unspoiled sandy beaches provide the perfect setting for scuba divers, snorkellers and adventurers as well. There is also plenty on offer for anglers, yachtsmen, kayakers, boaters and jet skiers. Cyclists und golfers appreciate the Yucatán peninsula for its flat terrain. And the archaeological sites in the area are famous well beyond Mexico’s borders. The Yucatán peninsula basically has it all.”
Flights to Cancún are available for booking now at flyedelweiss.com and via the usual sales channels.
