Fire damage at the airport of Catania
Due to a fire damage in the terminal,[WS1] the airport of Catania is currently closed.
To be able to offer you an alternative flight transportation to Zurich/Sicily, we have decided to operate today's flights from/to Palermo airport instead of Catania with the same flight number.
The following flights will be affected:
17.07.2023 (WK398/LX8398)
- Departure Zurich: 18.00hrs
- Arrival Palermo: 20.00hrs
17.07.2023 (WK399/LX8399)
- Departure Palermo: 20.40hrs
- Arrival Zurich 22.50hrs
We kindly ask you to organize the transportation from Palermo Airport on your own behalf. If you are unable to fly to Palermo today, please contact your booking office for an alternative transportation or a refund.
