The Kosovo of today has very little in common with the Kosovo of the past. Pristina, the capital of the country, is its political, economic and cultural hub and definitely worth a visit.
The country is still in the midst of change - and that is what makes it so exciting. On the one hand, you are surrounded by old buildings steeped in history, on the other hand there are more and more modern and hip cafés and restaurants to discover. It's not only the culinary delights that will delight you in Pristina, but above all visitors interested in culture should plan a little more time to explore the many sights.
