Reserve your favourite seat and enjoy the anticipation of your journey. For guests travelling in Edelweiss Business, seat reservation is free of charge. Guests travelling in Edelweiss Economy can secure their preferred seat for a small additional fee.

You can also reserve a seat after booking your flight. This is possible online up to 4 days before departure. Please make sure that the name you enter exactly matches the name on your booking.

Classic Seat

When reserving a Classic Seat from CHF 35 / EUR 30 / GBP 33 / USD 35 / CAD 45, you can enjoy comfortable seating with up to 81 cm of seat pitch and an individually adjustable headrest.

Legroom Seat

Enjoy noticeably more legroom: from CHF 60 / EUR 52 / GBP 57 / USD 61 / CAD 78, you can enjoy even more comfort on your flight with 86 cm of seat pitch. As these seats are not located at the emergency exits, they are also ideal for families travelling with children.

Extra Legroom Seat

Travel to your holiday destination in even greater comfort: from CHF 91 / EUR 79 / GBP 86 / USD 93 / CAD 119, your Extra Legroom Seat offers particularly generous legroom with 86 to 150 cm of seat pitch. The perfect choice for anyone looking for more space on the way to their dream destination.

Economy Max

Enjoy up to 10 cm more legroom, complimentary alcoholic beverages and shorter boarding and disembarkation times thanks to seats in the front section of the cabin. From CHF 129 / GBP 109 / USD 129 / CAD 175 per flight sector, depending on the flight distance, you can book a seat in Economy Max on all A340 aircraft and on A350 aircraft that have not yet been fitted with the new cabin.

Edelweiss Premium Economy

Treat yourself to that extra touch of comfort for a truly relaxing flight experience. In Edelweiss Premium Economy, you can enjoy up to 15 cm more legroom, a seat with a greater recline and additional privacy. As your seat is located in the front section of the cabin, you will also be among the first to collect your baggage after landing. Classic Seat

Choose your preferred seat in advance and enjoy a truly relaxing journey to your holiday destination. With high-quality entertainment on screens of up to 17.3 inches, individual power outlets, direct aisle access and our warm service, you can travel in complete comfort. Business Suite

Treat yourself to an exceptional flight experience from CHF 460 / EUR 400 / GBP 435 / USD 470 / CAD 600. With closing doors and adjustable privacy dividers, you can decide how much privacy you want – ideal for solo travellers or couples. At 54 cm wide, the seat transforms at the touch of a button into a fully flat, two-metre-long bed. A huge 32" 4K screen, direct aisle access and wireless charging stations make the perfect start to your holiday.

Attractive seat offer for families on long-haul flights

Travelling with children or young adults? Then benefit from reduced rates. Children aged 2–11 receive standard seat reservation free of charge, provided that at least one adult in the same booking has a seat reservation at the regular rate. For young people aged 12 and young adults up to 24, standard seat reservation costs just CHF 10 / USD 12 / CAD 17 / GBP 9 under the same conditions.

Would you like to change or cancel your seat reservation?

If you change your flight, please remember to adjust your seat reservation at the same time. If you select a seat of equal or lower value on your new flight, the change is free of charge. Please note that any surcharges already paid cannot be refunded. This applies in the event of cancellation, when changing to another airline, if you have made a duplicate reservation or if your preferred seat category is not available on your new flight.
