General information about entry requirements
As entry requirements can vary from country to country, it is imperative that you check the entry requirements applicable for your destination country well ahead of time. The relevant information is available from your travel agent or the embassy of your destination country. Once you have your visa, make sure to check it is valid for the entire duration of your stay.

Specific travel restrictions due to Coronavirus
Here you can find additional country specific travel regulations due to the current situation. Various countries are currently putting entry regulations into place for passengers. Entry restrictions are not aligned and differ from country to country and can change at short notice. Edelweiss therefore asks all passengers to urgently check the current travel and entry limitations of their final destination with the relevant Embassy. Please be also aware of Switzerlands newly adjusted entry regulations.
Children and travel
If a child will be travelling alone (“unaccompanied minor”) or, as the case may be, with only one parent, travel permission of the parents or, as the case may be, of the parent who will not be accompanying the child is often required. The authorities may deny entry to or exit from a country if such documentation is missing. In addition, the airline will, in some cases, be charged a fine. Edelweiss retains the right to pass on these fines to the persons responsible. Therefore, please ascertain that you have all of the necessary information, especially for travel to and from South Africa as well as for travel from Brazil and Punta Cana.
