·       Expansion to Morocco with non-stop flights to Agadir

·       37 short- and medium-haul holiday destinations in 17 countries

It's summer all year round in Egypt. For this reason, the destinations are among the most popular holiday destinations, especially in the winter months, and are in great demand. Whether for beach holidays, cultural excursions or a Nile cruise: Edelweiss will again fly to the most popular holiday destinations in Egypt this winter and provide an even larger offer with up to 23 frequencies per week. For example, Edelweiss will fly daily to Hurghada in the 2023/24 winter flight schedule, and even 2x daily at weekends. Luxor will be served twice a week and Marsa Alam three times a week. The number of flights to Sharm El Sheikh will be doubled to 4 weekly.

Holiday destinations for golfers, hikers and pleasure seekers

Spain is also a very popular destination during the cold months. Ideal for soaking up the sun, engaging in sporting activities or enjoying the local culture. Edelweiss is expanding its services to the Canary Islands in the coming winter and will be flying daily to Tenerife and Gran Canaria, and even twice daily at weekends. Fuerteventura will be served 4x weekly, Lanzarote 3x weekly and La Palma 2x weekly. The offer to Mallorca will be increased by 2 additional flights to up to 5 per week. Seville will be served 4x per week through the winter, Faro in Portugal up to 3x per week.

The holiday destinations in Morocco will be served with additional capacity from the winter flight schedule 2023/24, with a new non-stop service to Agadir from February. Edelweiss will fly up to 6 times a week to Marrakech and 2 times a week to Agadir throughout the winter. Larnaca on Cyprus will be served up to 7 times a week this winter.

More winter in the north

The Edelweiss holiday destinations in Norway and Iceland are becoming increasingly popular. The winter there is more intense, whiter and above all colder. An almost endless range of varied winter activities and breathtaking natural spectacles make these destinations so popular. Due to the increasing demand, Edelweiss is significantly expanding its offer: In Norway, Tromsø will be served up to 3x per week and Bergen up to 2x per week. Reykjavik/Keflavik in Iceland will also be served up to 3x per week and Edinburgh in Scotland up to 4x per week.
