Edelweiss flies to Biarritz for the first time

·     First flight to Biarritz on Friday, 23 June 2023

·     Two flights per week from Zurich until mid-September

·     Gate event with ceremonial ribbon cut

Edelweiss celebrated its first flight to Biarritz in France this Friday. This event was celebrated with the traditional ribbon cut. Urs Lobsiger, captain of the first flight, and Rolf Hancock, Vice President Aviation Development of Zurich Airport, cut the ribbon together with the crew.

Biarritz is a surfer's and bathing paradise on the French Atlantic coast and captivates with its fascinating architecture. Those wishing to visit the Basque Country can ideally combine Biarritz with the existing Edelweiss holiday destination Bilbao.

Edelweiss will be flying from Zurich to Biarritz every Tuesday and Friday until mid-September
