Edelweiss lifts COVID-19 vaccination obligation for flying personnel

No entry restrictions for crews at Edelweiss destinations. Mandatory vaccination for crews to be lifted as of 20 April 2023.

Last year, Edelweiss was confronted with constantly changing entry regulations worldwide due to the COVID situation. In the meantime, the situation has changed significantly. Since the end of November 2022, there are no longer any entry restrictions for crews at destinations with a local stay. In addition, there have been no more tightenings during the winter months. The situation has stabilised overall and flight operations are no longer at risk.

For this reason, Edelweiss has decided to lift the CODVID 19 vaccination obligation for flying personnel as of 20 April 2023. Should the situation change contrary to expectations, Edelweiss will examine the reintroduction of a vaccination obligation.
