Edelweiss to offer new flights to Boa Vista as of the winter timetable

Expansion of services to the Cape Verde Islands: New flights to the island of Boa Vista on the Cape Verde Islands. Significantly more flights to Egypt, the Canary Islands and Italy. For the first time, there is a large winter offer to the north, and Africa is further strengthened with the destinations Tanzania and South Africa. Caribbean and Central America remain attractive - Costa Rica is further expanded.

Following the successful launch of the route to Sal last winter, Edelweiss is expanding its service to Cape Verde with a second weekly flight. This flight now also serves the island of Boa Vista. This island is considered wind-safe, making it a paradise for water sports enthusiasts - especially kite and windsurfers. Boa Vista has large, Caribbean-like beaches. Edelweiss will fly from Zurich to Sal on Mondays and Thursdays and additionally to Boa Vista on Mondays from the end of October 2022. Flights to Boa Vista are bookable from July 12.

Egypt, the Canary Islands and Italy with significantly more flights, Morocco again travelable

Edelweiss is strengthening its popular Egypt routes: We are now offering ten weekly flights to Hurghada, three to Marsa Alam, three to Sharm el Sheikh and two to Luxor. Services to the Canary Islands are also being expanded, with nine weekly flights each to Tenerife and Gran Canaria, three weekly to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, and one weekly to La Palma. Madeira is also served three times a week. The weekly flights to Lamezia Terme and Catania in Italy are doubled from two to four. Morocco is once again available, and Edelweiss is now serving Marrakech with up to five flights a week and Agadir with up to two flights a week.

The winter offer in the north and in Africa

For the first time, Edelweiss is offering a broad portfolio of destinations in the north in winter.
