Edelweiss to fly to Pisa and Ponta Delgada in the Azores this summer
Two new holiday destinations for culture and outdoor enthusiasts. The new holiday destinations will be flown to from Zurich from June and July 2022 respectively. The offer on short and medium-haul routes increases in summer 2022 to 59 holiday destinations in 19 countries.
Edelweiss is adding two new holiday destinations to its range in summer 2022. The leading Swiss holiday airline is now flying to Pisa in Italy. With the Leaning Tower, Pisa is not only home to the most famous Italian monument in the world, the city also offers an outstanding range of museums and cultural attractions. The nearby coast offers beautiful beaches and pretty towns such as Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta and Viareggio or the famous "Cinque Terre" on the Ligurian coast.
Edelweiss will be flying directly from Zurich to Pisa every Tuesday and Friday from 3 June 2022.
With Ponta Delgada in the Azores, Edelweiss has a new holiday destination on offer for all outdoor enthusiasts. The archipelago with its nine islands rises in the middle of the Atlantic and impresses with its impressive nature. Volcanoes, hot springs, green landscapes and steep coasts. Beautiful hiking trails and fascinating fauna and flora can be found on all the Azores islands, as well as golden and black sand beaches and ideal conditions for divers, sailors and surfers. The pleasant year-round climate of the Azores makes this a perfect destination at any time of year.
Edelweiss will be flying directly from Zurich to Ponta Delgada in the Azores every Monday from 11 July 2022.
With the new holiday destinations Edelweiss offers this summer on short and medium-haul 59 destinations in 19 countries on short- and medium-haul routes and 19 destinations in 13 countries on long-haul routes.
The flights can be booked on flyedelweiss.com and through all the usual sales channels. The first sports baggage in the Normal category is transported free of charge and, of course, in-flight meals are included in the Edelweiss offer.
