Edelweiss recruits 150 new cabin crew members and adds two Airbus A320s to its fleet from summer 2022

Recruitment for new cabin crew members underway. Two additional Airbus A320s to be in service from summer 2022. Fleet expansion and search for new employees are related to the expansion of flight offerings in summer 2022.

Edelweiss is recruiting 150 new cabin crew members. The first Initial Training Course has already started these days. Places are still available for the courses in March, April, May and June. The prerequisite for entry is a successfully completed basic education (vocational training, Matura/Abitur, etc.) as well as a customer-oriented attitude with an above-average willingness to serve, pleasure in dealing with people, cordiality and empathy.

Two additional Airbus A320s in summer 2022

Edelweiss is expanding its fleet with two Airbus A320 aircraft. The aircraft will be used for short- and medium-haul services from Zurich from summer 2022. This will bring the Edelweiss fleet to 16 aircraft (12 Airbus A320s and 4 Airbus A340s).

The fleet expansion and the recruitment of new cabin staff are linked to the expansion of the flight programme for summer 2022. The number of flights on short- and medium-haul routes has been increased by 16% compared to summer 2021, while the long-haul programme represents an increase of 185%.
