What do I have to consider when applying?
Your CV must be fully supported by all school reports, job references or confirmations. Diplomas obtained (flying qualifications / language diplomas, etc.) must also be submitted. Only fully submitted applications via the job portal will be checked. Documents received by email will not be considered.
I get an error message when uploading my application documents. Why?
Please check the following points:
- Attachments must not exceed a maximum size of 5 MB
- No special characters in filenames like / % _ *, . =, etc
- Check date fields carefully to ensure that they are complete and correct (e.g. 11/31/2015 is recognized by the system as incorrect)
- Approved files of the type are: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .png, .jpg and .zip
- Security settings of your computer
How long does it take to review my application documents?
3 to 6 weeks
How can I be sure that my application has arrived?
After the documents have been successfully uploaded, you will receive a message via the website and a confirmation email to the email address you provided.
What is the age limit for applying to Edelweiss?
From Initio:
18th birthday to 33rd birthday when submitting the application
Is there a minimum or maximum height?
Minimum size: 160cm Maximum
size: 198cm
I had already completed the Ab Initio aptitude test for SWISS, but I didn't pass it. Can I repeat the aptitude test for Edelweiss?
No, Edelweiss follows the same criteria as SWISS. The negative result will stand unless you have been granted a reconsideration request.
Is it possible to apply at the same time to SWISS and Edelweiss?
Yes, you can submit your application to both SWISS and Edelweiss at the same time.
If I submit a parallel application, when do I have to decide which company I want to fly for?
The decision is made by the candidate after the positive decision on board.
