Covid-19 entry restrictions are not aligned and differ from country to country and can change at short notice. Please refer to the Travel Hotline information for Covid-19 travel information further down this page if you have any questions regarding entry.

As planning is still dependent on the entry restrictions of the respective countries, the flight schedule is always adjusted promptly to the current Covid-19 developments. Entry regulations into Switzerland since 30th of November 2021

The following Information are based on the Edelweiss Route Network. Countries that are not served by Edelweiss may not be covered in these data. You can use the FOPH's Travelcheck to check whether and under what conditions you are allowed to enter Switzerland.;;;;;; Effective 30 November 2021, the following entry regulations apply for travel to Switzerland.

Only the following travelers are allowed to board direct flights to Switzerland:

  • All passengers with citizenship of Switzerland and all EEA states (European Economic Area)
  • All passengers with a residence card for Switzerland or Liechtenstein
  • All passengers travelling back home and holding a residence permit in the Schengen area
  • Holders of a Visa Type D for Switzerland
  • Holders of a Certificate of Entry (Laisser-Passer) issued by a Swiss Representation abroad
All travelers must register online within 48 hours before departure. Should the online registration not be possible, passengers may exceptionally complete a paper form onboard the aircraft. Travelers older than 16 years must provide one of the following medical certificates, irrespective of their vaccination status:
  • Negative COVID-19 PCR or RT-PCR test, conducted within 72 hours before departure
  • Negative COVID-19 Antigen test, conducted within 48 hours before departure
Travelers must undergo a mandatory 10-day quarantine after their arrival in Switzerland.

All travelers must complete the online registration within 48 hours before departure. Should the online registration not be possible, passengers may exceptionally complete a paper form onboard the aircraft.

To enter Switzerland or transit to another Schengen country, nationals and residents of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, nationals of EEA member states and their immediate family members, as well as holders of a D visa issued by Switzerland must present one of the following medical certificates:

  • Negative COVID-19 PCR test result, taken within 72 hours before departure
  • Negative COVID-19 AntiGen rapid test taken within 48 hours departure
All other nationalities must present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate stating they were fully vaccinated within the last 12 months with an approved vaccine to enter Switzerland or continue to another Schengen country. In addition, one of the following medical certificates is required:
  • Negative COVID-19 PCR test result, taken within 72 hours before departure
  • Negative COVID-19 AntiGen rapid test taken within 48 hours departure
Travelers must undergo a mandatory 10-day quarantine after their arrival in Switzerland.

Transiting through Switzerland to another Non-Schengen country is allowed for any nationality, provided they do not leave the airport in Switzerland.

All travelers must register online within 48 hours before departure. Should the online registration not be possible, passengers may exceptionally complete a paper form onboard the aircraft. To enter Switzerland, travelers older than 16 years must provide one of the following medical certificates, irrespective of their vaccination status:

  • Negative COVID-19 PCR or RT-PCR test, conducted within 72 hours before departure
  • Negative COVID-19 Antigen test, conducted within 48 hours before departure
Travelers must undergo a mandatory 10-day quarantine after their arrival in Switzerland.

Travelers transiting through Switzerland to another destination do not require a medical certificate, provided they do not leave the airport in Switzerland.

  • Valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate, stating they were fully vaccinated within the last 12 months with an approved vaccine
  • Positive COVID-19 test, taken within the last 6 months and a COVID-19 recovery certificate
Travelers transiting through Switzerland to another destination do not require a medical certificate, provided they do not leave the airport in Switzerland.

All travelers must complete the online registration form within 48 hours before departure. Should the online registration not be possible, passengers may exceptionally complete a paper form onboard the aircraft.

To enter Switzerland or transfer towards another Schengen country, travelers older than 16 years must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate stating they were fully vaccinated within the last 12 months with an approved vaccine. Exceptions: Nationals and residents of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, nationals of EEA member states and their immediate family members, as well as holders of a D visa issued by Switzerland, who can provide one of the following:

  • Negative COVID-19 PCR test result, taken within 72 hours before before first point of embarkation of the journey (time of sampling)
  • Negative COVID-19 AntiGen rapid test taken within 48 hours before first point of embarkation of the journey (time of sampling)
  • Negative positive COVID-19 test result of a test taken within the last 6 months and a COVID-19 recovery certificate
Travelers transiting through Switzerland to another Non-Schengen destination do not require a medical certificate, provided they do not leave the airport in Switzerland.

Covid-19 entry regulations of particular countries

Below you will find the latest entry requirements for those countries which will be flown to in the next four weeks (subject to change). We are guided here by the regulations of the IATA. Please note that the information is not exhaustive. The regulations of the respective countries can also be changed and adapted at any time.

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Cape Verde. These apply to persons who are resident in Switzerland and/or who have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers must present a negative PCR test result (the sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours before departure) or an antiGen test result (the sample must have been taken no more than 48 hours before departure).
Exceptions to the testing requirement are: Children under 12 years of age; travellers who can show that they have been fully vaccinated; travellers who have a letter from their doctor stating that they have contracted Corona but have now recovered.

Covid-19 Information (Portuguese)

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Costa Rica. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. Masks must be worn on the entire airport premises (face shields alone are not allowed).
2. A valid insurance with amount that covers Covid-19 hospitalisation in case it would be necessary.
Exceptions to the insurance requirement are: persons under 18 years of age and travellers who can prove with their vaccination certificate that they have been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days. The vaccination certificate must contain the following information: surname and first name, date of the last dose, mark of the last dose (approved are: Moderna, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca or Johnson & Johnson).
3. Travellers need to fill out below online form before arrival in San José (SJO).
4. Passengers need a valid return flight confirmation already at the time of entry into Costa Rica.

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Cuba. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers are obliged to present a negative PCR test result issued by a certified laboratory. The sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours before arrival in Cuba.

Exceptions to the testing requirement: Children under 12 years of age; Travellers who can show that they have been fully vaccinated (proof of vaccination certificate in printed paperform).

2. Masks are compulsory on the entire airport area.

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Cyprus. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers must have a negative PCR test result. The sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours before departure. In addition all travellers are required to take a further laboratory test on arrival. Travellers must pay the cost of 30 euros themselves and go into self-isolation in their hotel or flat until they receive the test result by SMS. Please note that when returning to Switzerland, only test results issued in the Republic of Cyprus (Greek) will be accepted for check-in.
Exceptions to the testing requirement are: children under 12 years of age; fully vaccinated persons with valid vaccination certificate (only digital vaccination certificates will be accepted); travellers who can prove that they have had Corona at least 14 days ago and in the last 180 days, but have now recovered.
2. All passengers (including children under 12 years of age) must complete the online form below before departure.

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Egypt. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

Travellers arriving in Egypt from Switzerland will be required to provide a negative Covid-19 test result (PCR test) in printed form. The sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours before departure. If the test is not carried in printed form, another test must be taken on arrival. Since 18th June 2021 the PCR test certificate must contain QR code, otherwise it will not be accepted by quarantine authorities. Generally, a Covid-19 test can also be taken on arrival in Egypt for a fee of USD 30. In case of a positive result, the passenger can quarantine in their hotel at no additional charges (at the expense of the hotel).

Please note for Marsa Alam: All arriving passengers, who will achieve the Covid-19 test upon their arrival at Marsa Alam Airport must bring a hard copy of their passport (Photo Page).

Exceptions to the testing requirement are: Children under 6 years of age; citizens of Schengen countries who have been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days with a vaccine accepted by the WHO. A vaccination certificate with a QR code must be presented.

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Greece. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers must present a negative PCR or AntiGen test result. The sample of the PCR test must have been taken no more than 72 hours and the sample of the AntiGen test no more than 48 hours before departure. All documents must be in English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Spanish or Russian and the passenger's name must match the name in the passport.
Exceptions to the testing requirement: Children under 12 years of age; travellers who had their second Covid-19 vaccination at least 14 days ago. The vaccination certificate must be available in Greek, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Russian. It must also be issued by a public authority in accordance with the legislation in force and contain the following information: the full name as entered in the passport, the type of vaccine administered, the number of doses and the dates of vaccination; travellers who have a convalescence certificate and a positive PCR or antiGen test result showing that they have contracted Corona but have now recovered. The certificate was issued 30 days after the first positive diagnosis and is not valid for entry into Greece for more than 180 days from that date. All documents must be in English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Spanish or Russian and the passenger's name must match the name on the passport.
2. The "Passenger Locator Form" (PLF) must be completed at least 24h before flight departure. One form per family is sufficient. You will then receive a QR code. Find the form and more information under the link below. Please note that this link currently only works in Firefox or Chrome (not in Internet Explorer).

Important notices:

- Passengers failing to provide the QR code upon arrival to the Greek authorities are subject to a fine of EUR 500.
- Greek authorities require the airlines to verify QR code and refuse transportation if passenger cannot provide it.

Protocol for arrivals

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Iceland. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

. 1. All travellers older than 18 years (including Covid-19 vaccinated persons) must present a negative PCR test result. Vaccinated persons may also present a negative AntiGen test result. For all other travellers, no AntiGen test result is accepted. In both cases, the sample must have been taken no more than 72h before departure and must be in Danish, English, Icelandic, Norwegian or Swedish.
Exceptions to the testing requirement are: Recovered persons who present a positive PCR test result older than 14 days (isolation completed) but not older than 180 days.
2. Arriving travellers must undergo double screening (two COVID-19 tests) and observe 5-6 days quarantine between tests.
Exemptions to the double screeningand the quarantine requirement: Vaccinated or recovered persons, if the vaccination or recovery certificate is approved by the Icelandic immigration/health authorities.

Covid-19 information

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Italy. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers are obliged to present a negative AntiGen oder PCR test result (in English, French, Spanish or Italian). The sample must have been taken no more than 48 hours before entry into Italy.

Exceptions to the testing requirement: Children under 6 years of age; People under the age of 18 travelling with a parent, or adult, who is in the possession of vaccination or recovery certificate or neg. PCR/antigen test; Travellers who can show that they have been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days (approved vaccines are Pfizer-Biontech, Moderna, Astrazeneca and Johnsons & Johnson); Travellers who can show that they have had Corona in the last 180 days but have now recovered.

Please note that all certificates must be in English, French, Spanish or Italian. All persons who shall not provide the attestations shall have to undergo a 5-day quarantine period in self-isolation. At the end of such period, all persons must undergo a second molecular or antigen test to certify their negative status and end the quarantine self-isolation.

2. Travellers are required to complete the online form below up to 24 hours before departure. Upon request, the QR code received must be able to be presented already during boarding on a mobile device or in printed form.

Ministry of Health

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Jamaica. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All persons traveling to Jamaica (including Jamaicans and excluding children under 12 years of age) must present a negative Covid-19 test result. The sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours prior to departure. Business travellers must present a pre-test result and will incur the cost of a PCR test after arrival in Jamaica.
2. Travellers (including children) are required to complete the Travel Authorization form below prior to arrival in Jamaica.
3. In order to obtain Travel Authorization, tourists must only book accommodation in the Resilient Corridors. The Resilient Corridors include the coastline from Negril to Port Antonio (North Coast Corridor) and from Milk River to Negril (South Coast Corridor). Only businesses within the Corridor that have been trained and assessed for adherence to COVID-19 protocols are allowed to open to tourists. For more information, see the link below.

Travel Authorization Jamaica

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Kosovo. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

All travellers are obliged to present a negative PCR test result (the sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours before entry into Kosovo). Or a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken max. 48 hours before arrival in Kosovo.

Exceptions to the testing requirement: Children under 18 years of age and passengers who are in transit not more than 3hours; travellers who can show that they have been fully vaccinated (with written proof); travellers with a positive antibody test result (IgG) issued at most 30 days before arrival; travellers with a positive COVID-19 test taken max. 180 days before arrival. Kosovo nationals or passengers that do have background from Kosovo (valid ID card or passport) and foreign diplomats that are accredit in Kosovo and their families. Kosovarian nationals who do not meet the conditions may enter Kosovo, but must take a PCR test upon arrival in Pristina and then be quarantined for 7 days.

Important information for your return flight from Pristina to Zurich: Please note that before entering the terminal at Pristina Airport, you must already present all the required documents which are required for entry into Switzerland (e.g.: COVID-19 vaccination certificate, negative PCR or AntiGen test result, electronic entry form, etc. (see information further up on this page under "Entry regulations into Switzerland")). Passengers with missing or incomplete documents will be refused entry to the terminal. We therefore recommend that you be at the airport 3 hours before departure.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora

Below you will find the current entry requirements for the Maldives. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. Travellers (excluding infants under 1 year of age) have to provide a negative Covid-19 test result (PCR test). The sample must have been taken no more than 96 hours prior to departure from the first flight to the Maldives.
2. The PCR test result should be presented in paper or electronic form during airline check-in and if required at arrival. The document with the test result must contain the following information: name of the passenger (name as in passport), name and address of the testing laboratory, type of test stated as PCR test, date of sampling, result.
3. Additionally, travellers will need to fill out the online form below before arrival at Maldives and 48h before departure from their origin airport. Passengers are required to present the PCR Test result on arrival and should attach the result when completing the online form.

Covid-19 FAQ for Tourists

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Mauritius. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers (without exceptions) require a negative PCR test result. The sample must not have been taken more than 72 hours before departure.
2. All travellers must have health insurance covering Covid-19 (Mauritian nationals and Occupation/Residence Permit Holders exempted).
3. In addition, travellers must complete the following form below and carry it with them.

4. It is also possible to fill in the "Mauritius All-in-one Travel Form" online from 72 hours before departure. This form can also be filled out on paper before or during the flight. However, if you wish to record all the data for the immigration and health authorities before departure, you can do so by following the link below. At the end of the process, please print out the PDF document, sign it properly and carry it with you during your flight.

Additionally, valid for vaccinated persons:

  • All travellers must show that they have been fully vaccinated with one of the following vaccines for at least 14 days prior to departure: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria or Covishield), Covaxin, Moderna, Pfizer BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Sputnik V. The Janssen vaccine will also be accepted if the vaccination was given at least 28 days ago. Persons who can prove that they have recovered must have been vaccinated with a dose of the vaccines just mentioned for at least 14 days before departure.
  • If you are booked at a registered hotel: 1. All travellers must undergo a Covid test upon arrival at the hotel. If the test result is negative, you are free to explore the island. 2. On the 5th day of stay, another Covid test must be taken at the hotel (the costs are approximately between CHF 7 and CHF 9).
  • If you are not booked at a registered hotel: 1. All travellers must undergo a Covid test on arrival at the airport. If the test result is negative, you are free to explore the island. 2. On the 5th day of stay, another self-administered Covid test must be taken.
Additionally, valid for unvaccinated persons: Booking and payment of a 14 days in-room stay package at a designated hotel including airport transfers and PCR tests on the day of arrival, the 7th as well as the 14th day of stay (the costs are approximately between CHF 7 and CHF 9).

Applicable to travellers under 18 years of age:

Accompanying a vaccinated or unvaccinated adult will be subject to the same conditions applicable to the adult. Travelling alone will be subject to the same conditions as a vaccinated adult.

Currently, there are no specific entry requirements for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

Gobierno de México

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Morocco. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers (excluding children under 12 years of age) must be fully vaccinated for entry. You must be able to prove with your vaccination certificate that you have been fully vaccinated for at least 2 weeks. Children between 6 and 12 years of age must present a negative Covid-19 test result (PCR test) or also a vaccination certificate. The PCR sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours before departure. AntiGen rapid test results are not accepted.
Exceptions are: children under 6 years of age.
2. On arrival in Morocco, random rapid antigen tests are carried out and body temperature is measured.
3. All travellers to Morocco must complete the online form at the link below and carry it with them in printed form.

Currently, there are no specific entry requirements for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Oman. These apply to persons who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers 18 years and older must present a negative PCR test result (the sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours before arrival in Oman). Please note that the test result contains a QR code. It is also possible to take a PCR test upon arrival. However, this must be booked and paid for in advance. Until a negative result is available, travellers must go into quarantine.
Exceptions to the testing requirement are: children under 18 years of age.
2. Inbound travellers (excluding Omani nationals) must have international health insurance to cover treatment costs related to COVID-19 for a period of at least one month.
3. In addition, the online form below must be completed prior to departure. The vaccination certificate as well as the PCR test result must be uploaded with a QR code.

1. All travellers must present a negative PCR or AntiGen test result. The sample of the PCR test must have been taken no more than 72 hours and the sample of the AntiGen test no more than 48 hours before departure.
Exceptions to the testing requirement: Children under the age of 12 years.
2. Additionally, all travellers must fill out the online form before departure. Please note, that the online form can only be filled out after check-in process is completed.

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Funchal (Madeira). These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers must present a negative antigen test result. The sample must have been taken no more than 48 hours before departure. Passengers who do not have a negative test result will be subject to a test on arrival.
Exceptions to the testing requirement: children under 12 years of age and travellers with proof of Covid-19 vaccination or recovery within the last 180 days.
2. In addition, passengers are required to complete the online form below.

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Scotland. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers must present a negative PCR or AntiGen test result. The sample of the PCR or AntiGen test must have been taken no more than 72 hours before departure. All travellers must undergo another test on the 2nd day (costs must be borne by the traveller).
Exceptions to the testing requirement: children under 11 years of age; children between 11 and 17 years of age residing in Switzerland; fully vaccinated persons.
2. All travellers must take another test on day 2 (costs must be borne by the traveller). This must be booked and paid for in advance.
3. The Passenger Locator Form (PLF) must be completed by all passengers at least 48 hours prior to arrival.

Below you will find the current entry requirements for South Africa. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

All travellers (excluding children under 5 years of age) must have a negative PCR test result (the sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours before departure from first embarkation point). Please note that AntiGen tests are not allowed.

Below you will find the current entry requirements for the Seychelles. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers (including infants and children) are required to present a negative PCR test result from an accredited laboratory. The sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours prior to departure. AntiGen test results will not be accepted.
2. All travellers must have valid travel and health insurance. This must cover Covid-19 related quarantine, isolation or treatment.
3. All travellers must have a valid Health Travel Authorisation (HTA) to enter the country. Register for this via https://seychelles.govtas.com. You must provide your negative PCR test result and accommodation details.

Travel Information

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Spain. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers must have a negative PCR or AntiGen test result. The sampling of the PCR test must not have taken place more than 72h and the sampling of the AntiGen test must not have taken place more than 48h before entry into Spain.
Exceptions to the testing requirement are: children under 12 years of age; travellers who can show that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days ago; travellers with a certificate of recovery that is no more than 180 days old.

2. In addition, the health check form must be completed online via http://www.spth.gob.es or the SPTH app. The resulting QR code must be presented at the time of entry. The following link will take you to the health check form as well as to further information about the SPTH app and entry into Spain.

3. Please note that access to the passenger terminals in Spain is only possible as a passenger with a valid flight ticket.

Andalusia: Free complementary Covid-19 insurance

All foreign travellers (non-residents in Andalusia) travelling to the Autonomous Region of Andalusia during 2021 and lodging in an officially recognised establishment with an irrefutable booking will be offered complementary travel insurance by Europ Assistance. In addition to the travellers' existing insurance, it is intended to provide cover for emergency medical expenses in the event of a Covid-19 illness. The supplementary insurance includes the guarantee of health care, repatriation, and indemnity due to an extension of stay as a result of a Covid-19 illness. Canary Islands: Free Covid-19 insurance

Canary Islands Tourism, in collaboration with AXA Spain, is offering a collective, untitled insurance to all foreign and local tourists visiting the archipelago. The insurance covers emergency medical expenses and hospitalisation resulting from infection with Covid-19. In addition, the transport or medical repatriation of sick persons due to Covid-19 is included as well as the costs for a necessary longer stay in a hotel of the insured person (including in the case of a quarantine or imposed curfew) up to a maximum amount of EUR 5,000 and a maximum of 15 days. The insurance conditions of the Canary Islands and their partner AXA Spain are authoritative. More detailed information can be found at the following link.

Insurance Canary Islands

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Sri Lanka. These apply to persons who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss nationality.

1. All travellers (excluding infants under 2 years of age) must present a printed, negative PCR test result (the sample must have been taken no more than 72 hours before departure). The test result must be in English.
2. All passengers who cannot show that they have been fully vaccinated must take another PCR test on arrival. The appointment must be booked and paid for in advance via visitsrilanka.gov.lk (40 USD per test).
3. Fully vaccinated persons may stay in any type of accommodation, while persons not yet fully vaccinated stay in "Flexible Bio-Bubbles". In these, guests have access to all hotel facilities and are able to visit approved sites. Unvaccinated travellers can spend holidays in Sri Lanka under the protection of the "Tourism Bio Bubble" for a period of 7 nights/8 days.
Please note: Children aged 12 to 18 years are considered fully vaccinated if they depart two weeks after receiving at least one single dose of Pfizer vaccine.
4. All visitors pay a compulsory insurance of USD 12 with a cover of USD 50,000 for one month. Payment will be made through visitsrilanka.gov.lk.
5. All visitors must apply for their visa online via eta.gov.lk (you can find more information about this under this link). Please note that a "Tourism Reference number" may be requested during the process. This will be issued to you on pre-payment of insurance or PCR tests (see 2nd and 3rd point).
6. The online form under the following link can optionally be filled out before departure. However, this can also be done in paper form during the flight.

Online form Sri Lanka

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Tanzania. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers must have a negative PCR test result. The sampling of the PCR test must not have taken place more than 96h before departure. The testing obligation also applies to all recovered and vaccinated persons.
Exceptions to the testing requirement are: children under 5 years of age.
2. In addition, the online form below must be completed at least 24 hours before departure. The generated QR code must be presented upon arrival.

Phuket

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Phuket. These apply to persons who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

Valid for vaccinated travellers

1. All travellers (including infants and children) must present a negative PCR test result issued within 72h before traveling. The result must be in English and in printed form. Please note that antiGen tests are not allowed.
2. All vaccinated persons must have a vaccination certificate confirming full vaccination protection since at least 14 days prior to departure to Thailand and no longer than 12 months, in order to enter the country. Please note that unvaccinated children under 18 years of age may travel with their vaccinated parents.
3. Upon arrival, all travellers must undergo a PCR test at the airport for a fee. After this test, travellers must go directly to their hotel. Once travellers receive their negative test result, they are free to explore their holiday destination. This requires a booking for at least one night at a SHA+ or AQ Hotel in Phuket. Please note that you must be able to present the booking confirmation.
4. In addition, a Covid-19 travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 50,000 USD must be taken out before the start of the trip. A copy of the policy in English must be provided. See this link for more detailed information about the insurance requirements.
5. All passengers must either present a CoE or register online for a Thailand Pass and present the resulting QR code.
6. Optionally, all travellers can download and register in the "ThailandPlus" app before travelling.

Please note: It is mandatory to carry all requested documents in English.

Valid for not vaccinated travellers

1. All travellers (including infants and children) must present a negative PCR test result issued within 72h before traveling. The result must be in English and in printed form. Please note that antiGen tests are not allowed.
2. Upon arrival, all travellers must undergo a PCR test at the airport for a fee. After this test, travellers must go directly to their hotel. On the 8th/9th day of stay, another PCR test must be done for a fee.
3. Please note that unvaccinated persons aged 18 years and over must undergo mandatory quarantine for 10 nights at one of the AQ Hotels on Phuket. This excludes unvaccinated children under 18 years of age travelling with vaccinated parents.
4. In addition, a Covid-19 travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 50,000 USD must be taken out before the start of the trip. A copy of the policy in English must be provided. See this link for more detailed information about the insurance requirements.

Step-by-step guide entering Phuket

Below you will find the current entry requirements for Turkey. These are valid for travellers who are resident in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.

1. All travellers older than 12 years must present a negative PCR test result upon entry into Turkey. The test result must not be older than 72h before entry into Turkey. A negative AntiGen test result is also accepted (the sample must have been taken no more than 48h before entry into Turkey).
Exceptions to the testing requirement: Children under 12 years of age; travellers who can prove that they have been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days; travellers who have a letter from their doctor stating that they have been ill with Corona in the last 6 months but have now recovered.
2. Travellers older than 6 years are required to complete the online form below at least 72 hours prior to departure.

The Checkport call centre provides travellers in Switzerland with telephone information on the applicable Covid-19 entry requirements in transit and destination countries. Specially trained experts provide advice in German, French and English via the chargeable number 0900 734 736 (CHF 2.50/minute) daily from 8 AM to 6 PM (including public holidays). For data protection reasons, calls are not recorded and personal data is not stored.

Health Declaration Card

Passengers travelling to some Edelweiss destinations must complete a separate form ("Health Declaration Card"). This is either already distributed in the aircraft or at the destination airport.
