Edelweiss new main sponsor of Swiss Surfing and title sponsor of the "Edelweiss Surf Tour
Surfers have known it for a long time: Edelweiss takes them and their valuable boards to the most beautiful vacation destinations and surf spots in the world. But not only that, because Edelweiss also offers attractive conditions for the transport of surf equipment, with the first sports luggage up to a maximum of 23 kg traveling free of charge.
As the new main sponsor of Swiss Surfing and title sponsor of the "Edelweiss Surf Tour", Edelweiss is now even more committed to this sport. "Surfing is very close to Edelweiss' heart. As the leading Swiss vacation airline, we bring the surfing community directly to some of the most beautiful surfing hotspots all year round - from lesser-known gems such as Newquay in England to the absolute surfing mecca of Costa Rica. Swiss Surfing is launching the first interdisciplinary Swiss amateur surf contest series "Edelweiss Surf Tour" this year, with Edelweiss as the title sponsor. The unique tour format will include the Swiss Championships in the three disciplines of River Surfing, Stationary Waveriding and Wavepool Surfing, and the overall winners will be crowned. The five-stop series will start on April 30 and end on December 4, 2022.
