Edelweiss to Resume Flights to the Maldives

Edelweiss will again be flying directly from Zurich to Malé in the Maldives from September 26. With Punta Cana, the Seychelles and Cancún, four long-haul destinations are now available in the autumn and winter program.

With the Maldives, Edelweiss is adding another vacation destination to its range for the coming autumn vacations. They are a must for all lovers of the colorful underwater worlds. The countless reefs are home to colorful fish, reef and whale sharks, turtles and manta rays. From September 26th Edelweiss flies again twice a week from Zurich directly to Malé.

"Over 1'200 islands in the Indian Ocean with its crystal clear water offer divers and snorkelers a breathtaking backdrop. Almost nowhere is there so much privacy as on the many beautiful, small islands," says Patrick Heymann, Chief Commercial Officer of Edelweiss.

The connection is bookable on flyedelweiss.com and through all the usual sales channels.

Any flight timetable changes that may become necessary due to new or reintroduced entry restrictions will be communicated promptly. Edelweiss will continue to guarantee free and flexible rebooking options, so that travel can be planned worry-free.
