The Calgary Zoo

Located east of downtown Calgary, in the Bridgeland area, lies the popular Calgary Zoo. The almost 50-hectare park is home to 130 different animal species and is one of the best zoos in the world highly proclaimed for its animal and environmental research. Through the subdivided areas, visitors are immersed in different worlds such as the "Canadian Wilds", "Penguin Plunge" or "Destination Africa".

The TELUS Spark Science Centre offers, among other things, an inventive museum for children. The Creative Kids Museum focuses on the playful exploration of music, theatre and visual arts and is aimed at children under nine. Expert-designed developmental activities promote the fine motor and spatial skills of the little ones.

The Paddle Station
