There is a lot of variety for your holidays in Sardinia. Sardinia’s multifaceted regions boast a rich diversity of vegetation and culture. The island capital of Cagliari is situated on the southern tip of this Italian holiday paradise. Built on seven hills, just like Rome, Cagliari offers a lovely blend of big town and medieval architecture. Besides diving, sailing, wind- and kitesurfing, it is also a great place for hiking, cycling and horseback riding. The Sella del Diavolo promontory nearby is worth exploring, as is the Parco dei Sette Fratelli where Sardinian deer can be seen grazing.

Sardinia is renowned for its beautiful coastlines and spectacular beaches which include: the famous Costa Smeralda and Costa Paradiso in the north, Costa Rei with translucent turquoise water in the east, the Costa Verde nature haven in the west and Cagliari’s fabulous Poetto beach in the south. Blessed with an amiable Mediterranean climate, swimming in the sea is possible even during the early months of the year in southern Sardinia.
