Bernd Bauer to succeed Karl Kistler as CEO of Edelweiss Air

Bernd Bauer, who is 48, currently Vice President Revenue Management, Pricing & Distribution at Swiss International Air Lines, is to succeed Karl Kistler as CEO of Edelweiss Air. The handover will be effected in the third quarter of this year. Karl Kistler, who is 61, wishes to put his responsibilities in new hands after 12 years at the Edelweiss helm. Read more

Edelweiss Winter Timetable 2014/15

The Edelweiss 2014/15 winter timetable includes some changes in the route network. The new long-haul routes Las Vegas and Havana, introduced in the 2014 summer timetable, are highly popular destinations. As a result, they will be served with one weekly flight during the winter months as well. The number of flights to Phuket will be increased to three per week. Read more
